EgyptAir reports that a flight departing from Paris to Cairo has gone missing with over 69 people on board.Cairo-based EgyptAir sent out a tweet at 10:57AM CEST time saying that flight MS804, which had departed about twelve hours earlier, had disappeared from its radar.The airline lost contact with the flight about three hours after takeoff, it said on Twitter. The flight was at 37,000 feet and about 80 miles from Egyptian airspace, it said.
Flightradar24, an organization that tracks real-time air traffic, shows the plane has yet to reach its destination, stopping short in the middle of the Mediterranian Sea. However, it lists the May 19 flight as “landed” on its database.
