She said, ‘I wanted to spread the news to the world that we are not terr^rist and the Israel army is suppressing us.’ Her Facebook page has 50 thousand likes.Janna is from a small village of Palestine and she was aware about the chaos there from a small age. According to her mother Nawalka one of Janna’s friends was shot dead. World most extreme airport – Lukla Airport, solukhumbu, Nepal

Now what once was a dirt strip is one of Nepal’s busiest airports, the Tenzing-Hillary Airport – named as well for Hillary’s climbing partner Tenzing Norgay. The thousands of mountaineers and trekkers who visit the Everest region have to fly to the airport if they want to avoid a daylong bus trip from Katmandu and five days of trekking to reach here.

The airport has handled up to 79 flights on one day – far beyond the acceptable capacity for such a facility, said Rinji, the airport’s air traffic controller, who, like most Sherpas in the Everest region, uses only one name.
At an altitude of 2843m, the small airstrip here has earned a reputation as one of the most extreme and dangerous airports in the world. The single runway is narrow, short and sloped. Miss the runway by a few metres and the plane would hit a mountain.

“After you cross the river there is no turning back, you have to land,” said Pramod Poudel, a Tara Air pilot who has flown hundreds of these flights to Lukla.

Carved out of the side of a mountain, the airport was built by Sir Edmund Hillary in 1965 – 12 years after he became the first man to conquer the world’s highest peak – to help the local Sherpas spur development in the impoverished area.

Malaysian Domestic Trade Minister Hasan Malek said the news on fake rice, which has gone viral on the Internet, might be true or false, but the ministry would not take such things lightly. “I, too, have heard about the news. The news can be true or false; we don’t know about it. We also don’t know if the fake rice has landed in the country but we cannot take such things lightly. “We will carry out investigations nationwide,” Datuk Seri Hasan said on Monday. Mr Hasan added that the investigating team would focus on small sundry shops to check whether they were selling the fake rice, especially in the outskirts and rural areas. The sacred bowl of rice that used to save lives could now be harmful – and even deadly.Plastic rice laced with poisonous resin has reportedly reached the shores of several Asian nations. The rice is said to stay hard after it has been cooked.The plastic rice, reportedly made from potatoes, sweet potatoes, with synthetic resin moulded into the shape of real rice, is said to have made its way into countries with large rural populations such as India, Indonesia and Vietnam. One latest rumour said that the fake rice had entered Singapore.But a spokesman from the Agri-Food & Veterinary Authority (AVA) told The Straits Times: “As part of AVA’s routine surveillance, imported rice is regularly inspected and sampled to ensure compliance with our food safety standards and requirements. “Our sampling tests cover a wide range of food-borne hazards. Thus far, the testing results have been satisfactory.“We have not received any feedback on fake rice.” Health experts and dieticians have warned that consuming such fake grains could be lethal or seriously damage the digestive system. News of the fake rice, commonly sold in Chinese markets, especially in Taiyuan in Shaanxi province, has been circulating on popular social media platforms such as WhatsApp and Facebook. But the Malaysian Agriculture and Agro-based Industry Ministry has said it has not received any reports on fake rice. Its minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob denied receiving such reports, and assured that consumers would be taught how to identify fake grains. Speaking to reporters after a Young Agropreneur meeting on Monday, Datuk Seri Ismail said complaints of fake goods fall under the purview of the Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Ministry.

“However, we will assist the ministry regarding the technical side of identifying rice. “For example, we can give consumers pointers on how to differentiate between fake and real rice,” he said.

The BBC journalist went to Shanghai, to a Pegatron factory; a grim mini-city where 80,000 workers live in overcrowded dormitories around the plant. Pegatron got contracts to work for Apple following the 2010 incidents, but conditions at its factories seem no better. Three Chinese journalists went into the factory with hidden cameras, showing the process from hiring to training to actual work days.From the hidden-camera footage, it looks a lot like that 1984 that Apple showed, three decades ago, in its famous TV commercial. It’s a stark difference from the glossy videos that Apple shows demonstrating robots that meticulously craft the company’s products.
I’ve worked at a lot of different jobs in my life, but there are a few I’d never like to try: picking crops on a farm, working in a chicken processing plant, and working in any kind of factory. The relentless assembly lines and the noise of the machines would be hard to deal with. Even those factories without deafening machines still seem like harsh places to work, if only because of the cadence they impose on employees.

He wanted to know whether the conditions in Apple’s plants had improved since the company promised, following a series of suicides at a Foxconn plant in 2010, to improve them.

The film starts by claiming to tell “the truth about Apple and your iPhone,” and begins by looking at the “fanatics to the cult of Apple” on the day of the iPhone 6 launch. (To be fair, the journalist is an Apple user, and points out, at the beginning of the documentary, that he uses an iPhone and a “MacBook.”) Then it looks at why Apple uses China to manufacture most of their hardware: With 1 million workers making Apple products, no other country can provide so much labor so cheaply.

African Rock Python sw@llow$ an entire baby Impala

Last month at the Marakele National Park in South Africa, Wildlife photographer and guide Michelle Sole captured a stunning footage. A herd of impalas’ cries alerted her about the presence of a predator. And that is when she came across a rare sight of the python enjoying its meal.Wildlife photographer and guide Michelle said, ‘We noticed the herd were staring at the ground and when we got closer we found a small, motionless impala with a four meter rock python wrapped around its fragile body. A few minutes later the herd moved away leaving the snake with her prize, but we looked on fascinated as she continued to squeeze despite the lack of life left in the poor lamb’s body. The mother impala returned and came close to her baby, distraught and calling in alarm but there was nothing she could do. When the snake was confident the lamb was dead it released its grip and then locked its jaws around the lamb’s nose and moved it into the undergrowth to swallow it whole.’
Reaching up to 7 meters and 90 kg in weight, the African Rock Python is Africa’s largest snake. They might not be venomous but they can deliver a nasty bite and even constrict their prey to kill it. The incredible thing is that the snake can swallow prey three times wider than its own head. The jaws are allowed to stretch apart because of their elastic ligaments.
The two sides of the lower jaw are not joined to each other. It can even divide its upper jaws if it needs to which gives it’s head four section capable of moving independently. The acid in the python’s stomach can break almost every part of the impala including the hooves and the horns.
