World’s Longest Rail Tunnel Opens in Switzerland

The trio sat together in a first-class carriage, along with
Schneider-Amman, and chatted over glasses of water through the 20-minute
journey from Erstfeld in the central canton of Uri southward to Ticino
canton. Speaking at ceremony in the town Pollegio after the inaugural
trip, Hollande urged British voters to recall their closeness to Europe
on the June 23 Brexit vote. “We are as united as we have ever been,”
Hollande said, drawing a parallel between the GBT and the 1994 opening
of the Channel Tunnel, which connected Paris and London by high-speed
rail and fostered fresh ties between the two capitals. The trailblazing rail passage under the Swiss Alps aiming to ease transit through the heart of Europe. With Europe’s political unity shaken by a massive migrant crisis and the looming threat of Britain’s EU exit, Swiss president Johan Schneider-Amman said the tunnel would “join the people and the economies” of Europe. He spoke as the first train made a ceremonial run through the 57km Gotthard Base Tunnel (GBT) beneath the region’s spectacular mountain peaks, with European leaders on board. The tunnel took 17 years to build, at a cost of over 12 billion Swiss francs (US$12 billion), with 125 labourers rotating in three shifts to lay the tunnel’s slab track in 43,800 hours of non-stop work, according to the Swiss rail service. German Chancellor Angela Merkel, French President Francois Hollande and Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi were among the passengers on the first train on Wednesday.

Amazing documentary shows the things that might happen when earth stops turning

We might not ever think about it but the Earth rotates at around 1,100 miles per hour (1,670 km/h).
Michael Stevens, also known as Vsauce is set out to answer the question ‘what if earth stopped rotating?’ through his new video. Michael Stevens is a London based scientist. He has outlined the devastating impact that a sudden halt to the Earth’s rotation would have on life. The atmosphere would still be in motion if the Earth stopped spinning suddenly. And the motion would be with the Earth’s original 1,100 mile per hour rotation speed at the equator. He even describes that most of the people would have a very horrific de@!th.
He explained, ‘Immediately everything that wasn’t on Earth and wasn’t safely at the poles would continue to moving as it had. It would be flung due east at 1000 mp. Your body would immediately become a 9 inch caliber bullet. Gusts of wind as fast as those near an atomic bomb detonation would blast past the surface and up into the sky forming worldwide storms of unprecedented magnitude. The friction alone, caused by the now stopped Earth colliding with these winds would be enough to cause massive fires and unparalleled erosion’.Meanwhile we would be dosed with deadly amounts of ionizing radiation as the Earth’s magnetic field would cease to exist. As the current rotational velocity causes the Earth to bulge out around its equator, after stopping to rotate, the Earth would become an almost perfect sphere. The oceans are held out at the equator by 5 miles because of the Earth’s bulge in the center and the world’s oceans would redistribute on a perfect sphere Earth. This would result in flooding of many areas of the planet with a huge volume of water.

Mars is the another planet like earth. There is many history related with the Mars. Many scientist has been doing lots on research on this mars. Here in this video you can see NASA Scientist starting to grow potato on Mars. Potato could be the galaxy’s first plant and NASA has announced to grow this plant under Mars like conditions.
It is very surprising to listen that any plant could grow to Mars but those Scientist have come up with the announcement already. The team has been putting the effort on this. Here is the video you can see the oldest desert on Earth and the team of NASA has teamed up with the International Potato Center in Peru. The student of NASA has been testing the soil for the sample. They want to develop a potato that could be grown on Mars. Here in this video there is a report done by Mariana Sanchez from Atacama Desert which is the oldest desert in Peru. This could be surprising to listen but in this video you can see the entire report about these things. Mars is another planet where it is told there could be a life and so the potato could be the first planet to grow there.

Basanti Maharjan, February 10, 2016 (Dcnepal) – Today in the video we can see an amazing video and talent of a student who has been studying in grade 11. A student studying in grade 11 generate electricity with potatoes, charged mobile with the sunlight and also launched rocket with tankers.
We can see a boy in the video. A boy is the young scientist of Meerut named as Abdul Samad, a student from the 11th grade. Abdul Samad has demonstrated his skills by lightening the LED light by the help of potatoes. Also, designed a mobile device to charge in the sun.
Samad had prepared three projects, generate electricity with potatoes, designed a mobile device to charge in the sun and also launched rocket with tankers. Samad succeeded to lighten the LEB bulb using 24 potatoes. In potatoes we can find acid. Using the same theory Samad made a device attaching the rod of zinc and copper and lightens the 2.5 volt of LED bulb. Samad also claimed that the LED bulb can lighten till half an hour.
Similarly, Samad had also invented a device naming as sooner recover to charge a mobile from sunlight. To prepare this device Samad attached a silicon rod in the cover of mobile and joined it with terminal. Within half an hour mobile can be charged from this device.
The third project of Samad was launch of rocket from tanker. Samad made an army tanker joining two plastic bottles. The design of tanker is made in such way that even rocket can be launched from the tanker. Samad had also said the tanker can be operated without human. The models are small but the thinking capacity and creativity of Samad is very high and great

The Saudi state news agency SPA stated that a “technical fault” was responsible for the crash. Earlier, the authorities from the United Arab Emirates had confirmed that one of its planes was “missing.”“The Supreme Command of the Armed Forces announced today that a fighter jet taking part in the Arab coalition led by Saudi Arabia … in Yemen was missing,” the statement read, according to AFP.
“A pilot from the Bahraini contingent participating in the coalition survived after the fall of his F-16 plane in the Jizan region this morning due to a technical malfunction,” Reuters reported, citing a statement on the Saudi state news agency.A Saudi-led coalition of Arab states began a military campaign a year ago in an attempt to restore President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi and to prevent the Houthi rebels from taking complete control of Yemen.
